2. Training for those who are obligated to report
There are four types of duty-reporter training that social welfare facility workers must receive.
[Education for mandatory reporting of elder abuse]
Elderly Abuse Reporting Mandatory Education is an education that must be received by those who work in senior welfare facilities, nursing hospitals, general hospitals, and long-term care institutions in accordance with the Elderly Welfare Act.
The training time is conducted once a year, face-to-face education or online education for more than 1 hour.

Mandatory reporting of child abuse is mandatory for all child welfare facilities, social welfare facilities, child care staff at daycare centers, and 119 ambulance crews.
Education is conducted for more than one hour every year, and education is provided on child abuse prevention, reporting methods when discovered, and child victim protection procedures.

3. Human Rights Awareness Improvement Education
There are three major types of human rights and awareness improvement education: prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace, improvement of awareness of the disabled, and human rights education.

Sexual harassment prevention training in the workplace is provided to all employees for at least one hour once a year.
Lectures can be conducted through external instructors, and internal training can also be conducted using educational materials.

4. Retirement pension education
For retirement pension, all employees must complete training at least once a year in accordance with the Employee Retirement Benefit Security Act.
Failure to complete the retirement pension education will result in a fine of up to KRW 10 million.

5. Other training
Other education includes workplace bullying prevention education and early detection guidelines for missing children.
Although it is not compulsory education, it is recommended to conduct education for all employees as fines may be imposed in the event of a related violation due to bullying in the workplace.
